The weekend went too fast...
Mom and Dad on Monday morning before going back home. Sure was good to have them here. Can't wait til they come back again. Posted by Hello

Hey Jeanne ~ It was great to talk to you on the phone a couple of days ago. Thanks so much for calling. Wish I could have been there last weekend to see you and hear you sing. I miss you and wish I could have been there...but I was there in spirit. Sounds like you had a good visit with your mom and dad. How is your foot doing? I really like this Blog site of yours, so I can keep up with all that's going on in your life. Work is really busy for me. Kenny is doing really good, and able to be home soon for 3 weeks after the Jazz Fest here this Sat. I'm really excited about that! The weather is supposed to be a beautiful 80 degrees. All of my family is coming up to see the band perform, and my friend Renee from Kansas City and Terri who just moved to Mpls. Hope you're having a great week. I'll give you a call on Sunday and we can really catch up. Talk to you soon. Love ya ~ Denice
Sistah...I wish you could have been there, too! Maybe next time? Yesterday I booked my next Bluebird gig. You have plenty of time to plan and it isn't during your peak work month: Sunday, January 9 at 8 p.m. ; )
The Bluebird was great. We had soooo much fun playing and the crowd really seemed to get into my three songs...of course seeding the audience with 40 of my friends probably aided in that!
Jazzfest! WHOOOHOOOO. John and I actually discussed the possibility of coming...but it just isn't in the cards. But, like you at the Bluebird, we'll be there in spirit. (And...what ever you do...don't use old sunscreen.)
